I just went and made sure that an income dedudction order was placed on y exes new job. Well as soon as he pays anyhting on my child support case. The state stops enforcing it. They are only there to make sure he is paying something. The lesson I learned wait it out. once he is delinquent and has his dl suspended they have to pay atleast a 3month lump sum. So I would have gotten 6 times more money.

I don't really understand what you're saying...if he pays any child support directly to the state then the state cancels his wage garnishment? Weird.

Once he starts paying any amount of money. They will stop trying to enforce anything. They told me their major function was to make sure I get some kind of support. So any payment get the state off thier back. I would have to prosecute myself for the back support.

Is that back support prior to them handling the case?

A little good news. I got the letter from the Internal Revenue office that says they will give me his Tax Refund! This just seems Ironic to me since this is how I found out about his other child.

I can say that I understand your frustration. I have not had any good experiences with The State of Florida's Child Support Enforcement program. Even when I wait it out and they jailed my daughter's father for failure to pay his court ordered support to the tune of >40,000 in arreages they let him out of jail with a promise to pay $1000. Of course he didn't pay that. I have no faith in CSE anymore.
