I've seen a lot of posts about getting together in different areas around Tampa Bay. I would like to start a biweekly or monthly get together for Tampa Bay's single parents. We would meet at different venues in Tampa so it will be central to everyone. Reply if interested in attending and/or organizing. Our first date could be Chuck E Cheese. Let me know.

I have been unsuccesful finding a single parent group in the Tampa area but I know you will find some great support in this website. There is great advice out there, feel free to join in the conversations. BTW I live in NPR.

The internet tells about many different interest groups in the Tampabay but you are right that not many allow kids with their single parents to be included. Parents Without Partners is a wonderful group that lets you get out, enjoy yourself, with or without your kids, and meet new people without having the heavy pressures of a meat-market dating club. It's a great place to help find your old self.
