I found out there is not a Parents Without Partners in Palm Bay to Coco. I feel strongly on wanting to get a group together. I feel like the single parents of this area have been forgotten. Exspecaly the guys. If any of you are interested in this PLEASE feel free to contact me.

well, I know what you are saying, I was looking for PWP in reno, they had no chapter, anyway, if you want you can start a chapter, I know, tall order but that how they grow.

One message states you are pregnant and need maternity clothes, the next one states you have a 12month old an need childrens clothes, the other states you are in NY..........Which is the real deal???

OK -- that was strange. Getting back (months later!) to the original subject: Parents Without Partners (PWP), which can be a great group of people. I will tell you from experience that almost 2 1/2 years ago I joined the local West Palm Beach Chapter of PWP. It was fun and I've met some new friends through it and all, but because no one wants to (or has time to) take on the volunteer positions that keep it running, it's falling apart. This particular group didn't have much for the kids either. Plus national fees have increased for the local groups as well. Anyway, you need a core group of people committed to giving their time and effort to make it work. The group I joined was more of an older crowd, but unfortunately that includes me (the older mom @48 with the younger daughter @12). So, right now, to date, if a younger crowd doesn't get involved and step up to the plate, the West Palm Bch PWP chapter is about to fold. So maybe y'all should think about that and possibly get it going again if you know enough other people to help. It could also include both the younger and the older crowd. Oh, and a warning to the women (sorry to the guys on this site, I know you're not like this if you're true to this website and it's purpose): some of the guys in these types of groups like PWP are like vultures; so be careful and cautious!
