I always knew there were other people going through a similar situation as I, but did not know how to go about connecting with them. This site is a great idea. Im 30 and have a 1 year old little girl. I have been recently divorced...my husband had an affair with his delightful secretary. Its tough being a single mom but fufilling at the same time. I also struggle with finding people to chat with- all of my friends are newly married and have new babies too- It is almost as if Ive helped their own relationships blossom...I know that is bizzare- On a lighter note...Glad to meet everyone and hope that we can all remember to take time for ourselves...as tough as that is!

I just wanted to say hello. I am new to this website. I read what you posted and I am in the same situation. I also have a one and half year old and I am pregnant again. His father also cheated on me. As soon as I found out I kicked him out with just the clothes on his back. I am also new to Florida. I moved here because my fiance convinved me it would be great and now I am all alone and I don't know anyone. If you ever want to chat it would be great.

Hi Joanne,

My heart just breaks for you and I know how you feel. I met my husband in Florida and he still has partial custody of our daughter- guess what that means... I can never leave Florida and all of my family is in NY- It really stinks to feel all alone. Im glad you had the strength to kick him out- Its so much easier to let them stay- Be happy that you are a STRONG women! Hi folks, I am also new to this, glad I found it. My ex asked for a divorce after 20 plus years because she met a younger man online, then ran up the charge cards flying to London to meet him in person! Never thought I'd be starting over this late in the game. My kids wanted to live with me because their mother can be pretty neglectfull of them. It can be tough to start huosekeeping over from scratch I'm afraid. I don't know how people manage with really young ones at home. Good luck to all, if I can be of help, just shout!
