I would really like to start a group of single parents in the north FL area. Seems like everyone is from south FL...lol. I am just about the only single parent(or so I feel) in my area. I live close to the Tallahassee area.

Hi, Vanna, and welcome to the site. I'm a little further South, but more centralized in the heart of Florida. I hope that you find more people up in that area as I know there are many on this site. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this forum as well as the rest of the site. There is so much that this board offers with so many fantastic people. Thanks Ty's mom. I firmly believe it takes a been there situation to truly understand how hard it is to be a single parent. Can't wait to meet the others around here.

Has Ft Walton recovered from Ivan yet? We were hit by the tornados really bad and some of the area here still looks bare.
I have been to Ft Walton a few times and thought it was very nice. I really love Destin.
I have a three yr old girl too and two boys ages 5 and 8.
Can you believe how cold it has been lately..brrrr it is supposed to be sunny florida not cold florida...lol
It is good to hear from other single parents.

Is it rodeo time in Bristol yet?? I live close to Marianna. I lived in Tally for 5 yrs myself. Got tired of all the college kids rear ending my car....lol

Hello, Folk's I reside in North Fl. Green Cove Springs, a TEXAS transplant going ,a little over 2 years in Fl.,a little over two month's since I and almost grown children were left again by the same Dad, so a friend or two in this area would be great,

Welcome Zoo animals rock...cute name. I am trying to figure out where Green Cove is. I lived in Tx myself for awhile too...Killen Ft Hood area.

I'm sorry I don't remember a rodeo in Bristol I do rememeber one in Bonifay. May be they started having them in Britol. I haven't heard my parents talk about it. Did they have it at the football field?

Oh, my! I was just trying to catch up after having been away for a while, and was shocked when I read Bristol! My whole family is from there! We just had a family reunion on Thanksgiving Day! I love that little town, and have tons of family up there and in Blountstown. That is wild to know people that know those 2 towns! LOL! Glad you all found it here, and just wanted to extend a great big welcome to SFV! Hope you all enjoy the site, and find that the people are the best!
