Hello. My son and I just moved to Davie and we are both seeking new playmates! My son is entering Kindergarten at Hawkes Bluff Elementary. I am 41, newly divorced and studying full-time for IT certification exams, so I'm pretty much an island right now. We are looking for cool single moms and their kids to do different activities with...anything from getting ice cream or dinner to meeting at a park or going to museums/attractions.

I am an honest, responsible, sophisticated, educated, fun mom who is really quite normal, but all my old friends are pseudo-happily married, live in Miami and are from another lifetime at this point. We're looking to make a nice life for ourselves here in Broward and connect with families in similar situations.

I am also looking to meet a nice group of single moms to go out with while my son is visiting his father. Anything from movies, dinner, coffee, fundraising events, Joe Picasso's, wine tastings, concerts, comedians or even an exercise partner would be great. I'm not into the bar/pickup scene, although I do like low-key neighborhood places for a beer. I am not a lesbian, a religious zealot or into multi-level marketing, so I promise you'll be safe!
