I just wanted to welcome the new "faces" here in the Florida forum. I think it is great that you all have joined us and I do hope you find a way to get a play date set-up.

I noticed that there is an email displayed on one post, and just wanted to let you know that this is a very public forum which is easily accessible to anyone, including spammers who would fill your email w/worthless junk. We do have a PM (Private Message) option at the top of each post where we can send personal info like this to each other and it isn't out there for the taking by someone you don't want to email you. I will leave the email, and if you wish, you can use the pencil and paper icon to edit it out. This is in no way meant to make you feel uncomfortable, but I would hate for you to open your email to 500 or 600 spam emails and not know where they came from.

Hi.My name is Leah.I am 28.And I am a single mommy of a 6yr old girl.I live in the Coral Springs area and I am looking to start a playgroup or something.I grew up here but I moved away for 6 yrs and now I am back.Everyone I used to know has moved away so its hard to start over again making friends,etc.I have tried other playgroups,etc. but I find that 90% of the time I don't really "fit in" because I am a single mom and I work fulltime.Most of the mothers in the grops I have tried are really nice and everything but they can only "relate" to me on a certain level.I just want the opportunity to make new friends for myself AND my daughter.So if anyone is interested please, feel free to PM me.

I'm a single mom in the Coral Springs/Pompano Beach area with 10 yr old boy and an infant. Moved down to FL over a year ago from NY and have yet to make friends in a similar situation (single). I'm interested in making friends, play dates, networks.
