so, i thought today went pretty good. minus the rain. Loved finally getting to place faces with names and getting to talk to each of you that attended. I hope we can all do something again in the future. Real soon.

yes it did....and yes we should...if we made it a semi regular event(say every couple months or so)i'm sure our numbers would grow.

there is no such thing as "too many friends"

I am so happy things went well today. Did you all feel me thinking of you? Ev and I so wanted to be there.
She did get most of her homework finished today. Tomorrow we are at it again and I have to do mine as well. These end of the year projects are exhausting and expensive. How does anyone do it with more than one child?
Please, please let us plan another outing. I too want to put the names and faces together.

I thought it went well too! CA and I are practically neighbors so we will probably see each other again. I think Bukwheat is right - we should do it maybe bimonthly - I am sure our numbers would grow, too.

So what's the next date? How about the 'SPN FLorida Grill N Chill' - 7/16? lol Those that met today can be a planning committee and come up with ideas on how to get more folks to come.

Sounds Great!!! Maybe we can do something a little more centralized to tekmommy and myself depending on what location we get the most response from.

Going to a friend's church in Brandon this morning so gotta go get ready.

Wanna know something funny? This feels like family, not just a bunch of people who have one thing in common.

dre, don't remember if we took one. It started raining shortly after everyone got there. But if we didn't get one this time we will definitely remember to get one next time.

LET'S MAKE A DATE for the next event... I propose a Polk County (Lakeland?) location as it is halfway between Orlando & Tampa, provided there is somewhere sutiable.

CM? Any suggestions?

hmmmmmm, Lake Parker Park. Pavilions you don't have to rent, big park, bike trail, grills, etc. Accessible right off of I-4

I can't do July 23. I have my final test for my FTCE. This is my final certification exam for my teaching certificate. Kinda can't miss it.
But I can do the week before or the week after.

Also, if anyone is close by and wants to get together for lunch or something one day.....
