Sounds to me like you are to dependent on others. You are a single mom now and that requires a lot of indepence and confidence! I had my daughter at the tender age of 17 by myself (her dad denied her). I amd 25 now and have a very stable happy child. I have never been married nor do I recieve child support. I do for myself because no one else will! i have been in relationships with other men since I had her but I ahve not lived with any of them or vice versa. i want to set a good example for her and let her know that she can depend and look up to me. and at all times feel safe with me! Sounds like you ex could be very dagerous not only to you but your child.. This of your baby first and a relationship last! Get your life together ans if someon special comes along in the mean time great if not you have your baby and and that is all you need!!! Trust me!!!

Well the best thing for to do isnt go back to him. I just got out an abuive 4 year relationship and staying at moms to. She is getting sick of helping me so I have decide that for now Im going to ask her for help. When I go to work they(I have two kids now a 22month old son and 8 week old daughter)go to daycare.I have subized daycare I pay 22.50 a week for the two. You can always go to DCF and apply for help and try to get subized daycare. If you have an active injuction for protection aganist go to the court and let the clerk know that he is violation of the order. I know its seems hard right now(I was 19 when I had my son). In in regards to child support have it court order and if he dont pay he will lose in DL first then he will end up in jail until he pays all child support.Only do that if thats the way you want to go. If you do I can helo with getting the paper work together so you can file. That way you dont have to get a lawyer. Im doing it right now I just filed on my ex who by the way is loser to he doesnt know the meaning of the work JOB. dont go back to him, kids will see that kind of behavior and think that it is okay. Trust me, my son who is now 22 months heard and saw father yelling at me all time and hitting thing and pushing me around so now he always hitting things and yelling. Just stick your ground and do go back.I thought the same thing that the only way I could stay home was to have a partner but that feeling will pass. Its been years since I went out by myself but I have gotten used to becuase when I was with kids father he wouldnt even go to the store or go to work. I was the same way I didnt want someone watching my kids but I really had no other choice because there wouldnt help at all even when we lived with him. Over time things get eaiser. Hopefully soon they will get easier for me Im fighting with mine right he wont give the car thats mine-its in his name b/c at the time I had no DL-it was bought with my mom from IRS and avioding the sheriff so he cant be served with court papers. Ashley, Your not alone! I got pregnant when I was 14 Got Married at 15 a Month Later had a little Boy. My Ex was abusive My Mother talked him into the Navy. I had to grow up really Fast!! My Son was Hyperactive which I then had to fight School Administration all the time. I was Married for (eleven years)in name only. Why? It kept me from jumping from relationship to relationship. I got more pickier with who I wanted around my Son. I had to go on Welfare until I could Legally work. I too lived with my Mother. She also is my Best Friend. She actually lives with me now. And contributes her Money for our Future in Business.( Oh Yeah!) My ex I did divorce him.Killed 4 people in Virginia(his friends, For a Women) He's Dead now. But I'm glad I kept him away from a Man like that. Just work hard. Be picky in Life about everything because your choices effect you both! Cat

i am 19 with a 7 week old and i was in your same situation during my pregnancy what is it with these bypolars? well anyway i just whanted to tell you that i fell working and going to school makes you very indpendent you are moving forward and if you keep doing that then pretty soon you will be on your own and that is probibly when you will find a good guy meanwile hang in there, i hope to be were you are soon as far as work and school.

i was pregnant when i as 19 too. i know how hard it is to stop what youre doing so young and become a mother pretty much overnight.i was in a bad relationship too. But I can honestly say that I make a much better mother single and happy then i ever did in that relationship and miserable. Your kid needs you and we're all here for you.Don't worry about dating right now, when you focus on you and your child, things start falling into place.

I was a prego teen too...be proud to be a milf status but don't act like one. Everything will work out....just keep thing that..I wish you lived closer I would mentor you...It's hard..but it's worth it.
