Hi all, I'm Heather... going thru a divorce currently and desperately in need of support and help... moral/emotional support is probably top priority at this point, as is trying to find a place to live as I don't make much and the ex isn't willing to provide a thing for me... we are still all living in his mother's house... i need to get out... hopefully with my daughter.

Hi Heather, I know you feel like you're walking through a minefield right now, and you are, but we have all been through the same one and if we can make it so can you! It is not easy to deal with so many things at once, but I found that it helped to remember why I was trying so hard, my children needed me! Just hang in there and if you need to talk to someone, come find us!

Do you think leaving your ex in-laws with your daughter is going to be a problem? I hope not--
divorce is hard enough to go through and then to have custody issues on top of it... That's hard.

Hi Heather, everything will work out, just hang in there. I'm in PSL too going thru a very ugly divorce after 18 years of marriage. I was in my house one day and in the streets the next day. I have a daughter who is 3, I'm also looking for support as well, it's been almost a month now since I've seen my little angel, it's very painful.The process is not overnight they tell me, but it everyone tells me that it will all work out in the end. I've found a few places that are affordable in the area, I'm also looking for support groups in the area as well, if you like me to pass the info to you, just let me know. I teach at IRCC in the A/C Dept. Good luck to you, I wish you the best, just remember, you are not alone, there's people out there that are willing to help.
