My son's due date was March 19th, 1994. But by April he still hadn't decided to come into the world, what a stubborn child lol. They did a ultrasound and found that he was breech and way too big to be turned around. They decided that I was going to have a c-section. I had decided to let his dad come into the delivery room, big mistake! He passes out at the sight of blood so the knucklehead looked over the drape. What did he think he was going to see? I mean duh they were cutting me open of course there was going to be blood, so he left me in the delivery room by myself. On April 21st, 1994 he was born, weighing in at 8lbs. 5oz. He had some fluid in his lungs because of the c-section but he was otherwise ok. I didn't get to hold him, I only got to give him a kiss and they rushed him down to the NICU for a few hours. I got an infection and we ended up spending a week in the hospital. It is very difficult recovering from your first c-section. The first time you stand up you feel like your insides are going to fall out of the bottom of your stomach lol.

My daughter's due date was November 21st, 1997 and then they changed it to November 11th. I was working at the time and usually when I got home from work and relaxed she would start being very active. Well one morning she wasn't so I called the doctor. I went up to the hospital for a stress test and didn't leave until 2 weeks later lol. They found that her heart beat was too slow so they put me on observation. Then they said her hear rate wasn't staying stable enough so they decided to do an aminocentesis (sp?) and found that she was developed enough to be born. So they decided to induce me for 3 days and my body just wouldn't do it and man was I miserable. They did a ultrasound and found her to be breech and they tried to turn her and she turned right back lol. They finally decided to do another c-section and she came into this world on October 28, 1997, weighing in at 4lbs. 12 oz. She only spent a short time in the NICU. I made sure to let grandma go into the delivery room this time. I got to hold Annie for a few minutes and I remember my mom and I holding each other and crying, it was such a bonding exprience. My sister was waiting for us in the recovery room. When I was in the hospital they found out that I have sleep apena. Scared the heck out the nurse when she came in my room in the middle of the night and found me not breathing. We were able to go home on Halloween. Annie wore a Cabbage Patch Kid outfit home because all of the clothes I had for here were way too big. She was so darling. When we went to leave the hospital we were stopped by security. They had to make sure that I wasn't kidnapping my daughter, because it was Halloween and they have had people try to kidnap babies before on Halloween.

Great stories! I thought I would share mine. I found out that I was having twins about three months in. The day I went into labor I woke up about 6am, thinking I had wet the bed again. (My son sat low on my bladder, so the whole time I was wetting my pants when he would kick) Now you have to imagine, I walk into the hospital holding my humongous stomach, no pains at all other than the backache that started about July (they were born in September). I was dialated to an 8 and completly effaced. MY son was born at 10:36am and my daughter was born at 11:04am breech. I lucked out and delivered her, no c section! The best part was there was absolutly NO PAIN!!! I know I had a blessed labor! They weighed 6lbs 2oz, and 5lbs 12oz. And the doctor said I was a month early!
