I went in Friday November 12, for a C-Section cause my baby was breech. When I got to the hospital I started having mild contractions. They dressed me up in the scrubs and walked me to the operating room. That was the scariest part, it really looked like what you would see on ER. Bright lights, really clean (not that, that is a bad thing) but it just wasnt as comfortable as the labor & delivery room. It was a little after 3:00pm when they started to do the spinal. By 3:20 they already begun making the incision. 25 minutes later at 3:45pm my baby girl was delivered (this is my first). It really is the most emotional thing you'll ever experience. They handed Jayda to my step-dad (he was in the OR with me)shes so beautiful. A lot bigger than I expected 8lbs 3oz & 20in long. They took her to the nursury as they finished me up. Having a baby is the most rewarding experience, and the cesarean wasnt as bad as I expected. I finally got to go home yesterday, so todays been a little exhausting trying to get use to her schedule without all the extra help from the nurses. Good luck to all you moms and moms to be!!

As soon as I read the name, I knew it would bring a great big smile to JD's face!!! Big Grin Congratulations on you baby girl! What a wonderful blessing for the holidays! I still remember the delivery of my son and the first chance I got to see and hold him. I was so overwhelmed w/love. I didn't know it could fill up your whole heart that way. I know exactly what you are describing, and even nearly 7 years later, when I look at my son, that euphoria hasn't worn off! Enjoy having that newborn w/all their little noises while you can. They grow up before you know it!!!

Congratulations and best wishes to mommy and baby Jayda!!!!!!!!! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Congratulations!!!!

Hearing someone say a c-section wasn't as bad as they thought it would be makes me feel a little better. I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst, but it's nice to hear decent things. haha

God I'm nervous. LOL

Thanks for all the replys and the support. I must say though, that being pregnant was the easy part. Being a single mom and doing it on your own, is a little exhausting, but I wouldnt change it for the world. I just cant wait until she's old enough to sleep through the night. I just put Jayda down, so I better get a nap in too. xoxo Chantel

Congratuations!!!! I had my son by C Section as well.. I understand about being scared before hand... I was terrified. But after I had my son... I cant imagine having him naturally (42 weeks pregnant, huge head that was resting on my pelvic)

Congrats To You and Your New Family!
