On Dec 11th, 2003 at 3:38pm I gave birth to my first born, Austin Neil. He weighed in at 7lbs 6oz and measured 20inches. He is the most beautiful little person I have ever seen. I fell in love instantly. I never knew that I could have so much love for one person, or that all of my fears and doubts that I have had would just melt away at the sight of him.

The labor and delivery went very well...I arrived at the hospital at about 6am being 4cm dialted and 90% effaced. They had me walk for an hour to progress things, which it did and then I was admitted. At 5cm dialated I received my epidural(which hurt soo bad when it was all put in!) which I have to say was soo worth getting! When I was about 8 or 9 cm they broke my bag of waters except since the baby's head was so far down none of the fluid came out! LOL Razzer Finally after about a half an hour of pushing at 3:38pm Austin came into the world. My brother was there to see it all and be my coach. The next day my ex actually showed up in the evening to see me and see his son. He held Austin which surprised me even more than my ex being there did. I was and still am such a mixture of emotions bc of it, but it will be fine. He spent the night there with Austin and I and left the next morning.

Congratulations! I had both of my children naturally. I wouldn't trade it for the world! I must say, though, that I really don't expect to have more children!

Your son is beautiful. Smiler
