Well, when asked how you did it, you could always ask them "well how did you have your baby" and just leave it at that. It really is no ones business what or how you do anything.

but thats just me.

I have no clue- its the same thing with my reactions I get when I tell my daughters birthday. She was born January 1. I get looks and gasps and Oh wow! And an occasional- Really? Are you serious? I feel like saying "No- Im kidding, I just like to make up pretend birthdates for my kid *insert roll eyes here*" Geesh- what, are kids not allowed to be born on January 1?!

Besides- its not like you had a choice...not like you planned to have your kids on those dates.

My neice's birthday is January 1, 1991.
1191 is her birthday!!!!!

We always loved it that she is a new years baby!

Congrats on your babies with special birthdays.

My baby that I am pregnant with is due on March 4, 2008. That is leap year...It is a possibility that the baby is born on Feb. 29 and therefore would be VERY special because He would only have a birthday every 4 years. How incredibly awsome is that????

I am actually hoping for that. Cool

Jennie.

Jennie- my boss' birthday is Feb 29. Smiler

I like that my daughter has Jan 1 as her birthday, but I dont like the looks some people give, and the shocked comments. No different than me saying my birthday is May 31! LOL It is a conscience effort to make New Years day he BIRTHDAY and not just lump it all together with Christmas and New Years. When the clock strikes midnight, its HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLYN!!! and then its Happy new Year!! Smiler

Well..see..i'm a bit of a smart ***. When asked how I did it, I would give them the straight facts. Contractions, epidural, how many different nurses checked my cervix, how messy and gross feeling it was when my water broke....

I'd totally ignore what they really meant, but still answer the question Wink
