my beautiful son, Samuel Dean, was born. It took 14 1/2 hours, but it was all worth it. At first he didn't cry or anything which was very scary, but he is alright now & perfectly healthy which is all that matters. Anyways, he weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz., is 20 1/2 inches long & was born at 8:09 as well. Just thought I'd let everyone know the news.

Oh ps. to anyone who was wondering if I ended up getting the epidural or not, I did. If any other pregnant women are wondering if an epidural is worth it or not, IT SO IS & no it doesn't hurt like a lot of people say, trust me I'm a chicken when it comes to that stuff & I thought it was nothing.

Congrats!!!!!! I am sooo happy for you. You sound like you handled childbirth like a champ.
I am due on March 3rd and am so anxious. I cannot wait to meet my baby boy. I am also scared, worried and all other emotions wrapped up in one.

Well congrats on your little one!!! Ok 8lbs 9ozs, not so little one...lol. Welcome to that exclusive club that only mommies (and daddies of course) can be members of. Get a bunch of moms together and no matter what the subject is that they're discussing, it'll eventually turn into a discussion about child birth and who has the worst horror story. LOL

8 lbs 9 oz....been there! Nope it isn't little but you know what..they don't come out looking as breakable that way! LOL

Ryan has nailed each and everyone of us. He nailed the doc as soon as he pulled him out. Ok we knew that worked. Well then he thought he should make sure everybody knows it so he nailed the nurse TWICE right after that. He even got Alex who was just sitting beside Katie as she was struggling to change a diaper.
