Well, guess who has arrived! Baby I came back from my doc appt on Wednesday where she did a finger sweep. She released me from working & all the rest of the day I was cramping. My body told me that I was gonna be in labor that night! I was like, 'naw..I've got a day or two'. Psht~how wrong was I! I put my son to bed, starting reading, was trying to sleep & 11:30 I get up & call the OB dept at the hospital. Not 5 seconds later, my water breaks. 2 mins later, the contractions start coming on strong & close. I ended up throwing up cuz of the pain, silently, of course, cuz I didn't want to alarm my 6 yr old. Too late! He's up going to the bathroom, 'mom?~you ok'. I called my aunt & instead of her being there w/in 20 mins, it was more like 30 mins! I was dying & trying to keep my son upstairs to not wig him out. Finally my aunts get here, one takes my son, the other takes me. She, of course, does the speed limit & has a cig. Bad Day I could've punched her! By the time he showed up at 1:22am Thursday morn, I didn't have an epidural, forgot how painful labor could be & happy that my lil man has a head of dark hair! I ended up tearing in the process & remember that when his head came out, I shouted the 'F' word! LOL No one has ever heard me cuss, never will again. Smiler Anyways, turned out good, quicker than we all thought. I finally got the hang of breastfeeding & he's cuter than anything. He's Matthew Alexander~6lbs8oz, 20.5inches.

Courage doesnt always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow."
