I don't believe there is anything you can to get rid of them completely, unfortunately. I was lucky enough to escape them, but when I was pregnant I would slather on 100% pure cocoa butter every night. I'm not sure if that's what prevented them or not, but I'm sure it helped. I think the elasticity of the skin has a lot to do with it as well.

Dawn...if you so severely embarrassed that you would rule out a two piece all together...they can't be that bad! I went from 115 to 160 lbs with my first pregnancy and apparently the women in my family don't have elastic skin at all. I got stretch marks on my stretch marks. Good news being...I really didn't get any more from my son....there was no place left for new ones Anywho....I hear the mederma helps reduce the scar look, but time is your best friend with the stretch mark. They will never disappear but I began to think of them as war trophy's. I earned them and I'm proud. Of course...it took me 3 years to get to that point. I honestly looked like I had been attacked by a grizzly bear with mine. Even my best friend looked at me (and she had stretch marks from being overweight and losing it) and said ...they aren't..uh...that bad....(as she tried not to throw up saying it and looked for an exit!). Time....time makes everything better and where they don't go away they do fade in time.... "Hope" is the thing with feathers- That perches in the soul- And sings the tune without words- and never stops-at all... Emily Dickinson
