I am New to SFV |
Alexander William was born on 6-2-06 weighing in at 8 lbs 7 .2 oz and 21inches long.
he came into this world in quite a hurry. Started to feel contractions at about 6pm, and by 7pm they were hurting good, so at 730 i went to the hospital, only to find out they were incredibly full so i was in the Doctors room (where the docs sleep) until they realized i was already a 8-9cm so they rushed me into the Nursery, yes they put a bed in the nursery and I was to deliver there. Alexander was tired of being in my stomach apparently because he was in sucha rush to come that he did not want to wait long enough for mommy to get any pain meds... ANY! no ok i lied, i got meds through a IV, but they didnt kick in until AFTER he was born. lol at 8 28pm he was born. not a verygod damn long labor eh? the long part started after he was born! Alexander had crapped b4 he was born, they are guessing possibly a day or so before even, and had swallowed sum of that tainted ****. they suctioned him like crazy, but it just wasnt enough, he needed oxygeon. they tried holding it over his face for a while but it wasnt enough. a babys respitory should be 40-60, my sons was 120 As they were trying to slow him down, i was forced to stay on the bed. because, since my lil speed demon came into this world so fast, i had gotten a 3rd degree tear and they needed to stitch me up. after they had stitched me up, i had heard them say something about me losing a lotta blood, and about 20 minutes later, i beleived em. i was talking to my x about alexander and all a sudden i felt sick to my stomach and dizzy as ****. my x got the Nurse and she ran in and gave me oxygen, so yes, both me and my son were on oxygen. it was great fun. apparently my blood pressure was 69/38 or last number i remember hearing was 74/43 or a number or 2 offf. that didnt last forever though, the oxygen stablized me, but it left me flat on my back and unable to sit up and see my son. at that point they decided he needed to go to the NICU and i could hold him for a second before he left, well try holding a baby flat on ur back, that is screaming and basically gaspin for air... ya.. no fun. after holding him for mayb a minute, he was rushed to Nicu and iw as unable to see him till teh next day. My son stayed in the NICU for 10 whole days to be on antibiotics to treat an infection in his lungs and get his breathing to normal. he came home with slight breathing problems, more or less he has asthma, but it is minor, and have only had problems with it last summer when the smoke was so nasty from fires. my son is now 20 months old and a very hyper little boy, but i love him to death. breathing problems are minimal, he has had to have a hernia removed and his undescended testy fixed, and tubes put in his ears but health wise he is great. the doctors are considering speech therapy because he doesnt talk. well he does , but u dunno what he is saying, cause its alexneese. lol when my 3yr old was born she had miconium too, but they suctioned her fast enough to prevent problems. both of my kids were overdue by a couple days, i am now 26 weeks pg and my dr will not let me go past 39 to ensure this doenst happen again! miconium is shitty! lmao Judge me, and I'll prove you wrong. |

i don't know about the antibiotics, they never said anything. my dr is going to strip my membranes (this put me nto labor hours later last time) and see if it works the week before, and if nothing, monday (the 19th of may) shes going to induce me.
Judge me, and I'll prove you wrong. |
