I gave birth almost a month ago. When I hit my 40 week mark, I was so ready to go into labor. I was lucky and had a good pregnancy, but when you are that round, you just want to have control over your own body again. So, I looked up some things on the internet and here is what jump started my labor.

I had Mexican food for dinner, ate an entire pineapple, and yes you guessed it... had.. well "relations". You know that saying.. be careful what you wish for... well in only a few hours I was contracting so hard, that I knew we had to go to the hospital. I gave birth in 5 hours, which is really quick for a first child. It was really painful, because my contractions were so irregular. After a nice epi... I was feeling good! I didn't even feel any of the pushing! And what a beautiful little girl that I coaxed out of me...

Try it if you get to that point... but if you get the labor I did... boy oh boy... be ready to ask for the drugs!!
