Has annyone else experienced the pregnancy, desertion and then as the baby pops out all the shaking heads and comments "teenage pregnancy" " what kind of life will that child have" " you have ruined your life now". So off I went on the road of education and child - However now I have the nice car the mod cons, money in the bank and the name plate on my office door aged 35 (going on 50) with a 16 yrs old and a 4yr old (yep did it again)and why did I push myself so hard, why did I chase the "accepted lifestyle" because the strangers said so - only now do I realise I didn't need to prove anything to anyone. I proved all I had to prove the day I pushed my son out - that I loved him and that is all you need to prove and only to your child. So to all those young mothers who feel the strangers eyes on them - hold your head up and prove only to yourselves. Eeker

Yeah!!!!

Good for you! I went through the same thing. I am now 35, with a 15 & 6 year old. Yep, I did it again too. Just now for me I am financially going down hill from a not so pleasant divorce, still trying to recoop $$$, I work full-time but, I just don't make enough $, so I am always looking for extra work!?! Anyway good for you and yes to all those new moms. HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH

I know what you mean and I'm no teenager just a single mum. The up side is that you do try harder to provide for baby and yourself and the sense of achievement is greater knowing you are doing it all on your own. You're not just trying to proove something to the others but yourself as well and I think that can only be a good thing.
