I am meeting up with a high school friend that I used to date and then lived with when my HS boyfriend and I first moved in together. We were inseparable and then lost track after my HS boyfriend and I broke up. Things didn't end well.

Anyway, through means of my office and such, I am back in touch with this person and he is bringing his family up this weekend, hopefully the weather won't ruin it, and we are gonna hang out for a few hours. His wife was pretty cool before from what I remember.

He has 2 kids now and I have Kai so it will be interesting to see how much we have changed. Had a nice phone conversation with him last night and it sounds like his wife is more excited than he is. lol

I hope to have some fun. I'm actually rather happy about it.

THanks though. I'm happy to be getting away from you know who and have some fun at the beach. Gotta put on 2 inches of sunscreen so I dont burn.

I had a good time today. Met with my friend, his wife and kids. It was pouring so we had lunch out. After lunch it was sunny again so we took the kids to the beach. Kai and the little boy got along great. He's only a little older than her. They were playing so nice and it was so cute. Kai ventured out in the water up to her chin, fell once under the water and was fine. No crying. She said she was swimming. It was funny. I even got my suit on and went in for a bit. It was nice for all of us to catch up. I can't remember the last time I really actually had fun and it was like we never stopped seeing each other.

We are going to plan on going to Michigan's Adventure sometime in August before my classes start. Which should be fun for the kids and us. Although I dont really do big rides anymore. I will take Kai for the kiddie rides and to the water park.

So I had fun today. Tonight we are just relaxing watching movies.

As I already told some of you, Kai told me that she is going to go to her room and play by herself and that I could go play in MY room. lol
I know that as soon as I get my scrapbook stuff out she'll be in there wanting to help.

I am going to work on her 3rd year scrapbook since its pouring here and not suppose to let up all day. Today is a coffee-pj-scrapbook-not answer the phone day. I have all the pictures and such so if I can at least get the pages done, then I can start working on the page "blogs."

So after a very fun day outside yesterday trying to enjoy the sunny moments, we are spending the dreary rainy day inside.
