It is nice to meet all of you here....

Just a short, short bio....been ALONE now for at least 12 years.....long story, but basically the ex abandoned me while I was pregnant, and I was hoping we would work out the problems (he was married to his drugs, not me, really) I will take the TIME to get to really KNOW someone next time (he was a liar, cheater, manipulator, etc)...anyway, when I finally divorced him, it was after there were no more options (he had committed bigomy against me) I couldn't afford to travel to the state he did this to press charges against him, so I just did the next best thing and divorced him ....so, I've been alone now ALL THIS TIME.... ...but I have been told I am a STRONG woman.

I've been facing various trials and tribulations (havn't we all??? ) and I've also been involved in advocating for others in regards to poverty and survival issues...(talking to legislators and such, getting involved)....we gotta SPEAK UP, ya know??????

The squeaky wheel syndrome......too....

Anyway.....I hope I am not boring any of you all here....

Hi, Sunshine! I'm new, too. Only a couple of days but I can see it is going to be addictive! What a relief to have others to talk to who appear to be a really accepting group. I like that Paul said there isn't anything you can't say, at least 3 people will be able to relate. Support! The tough part is stopping the surf and signing off to go to bed. Question for you or anyone else, I guess. I didn't sign up for a Premium Membership. Wondered if Live Chats were part of the membership. I'd like to have a little more back & forth instead of so much quality time with my screen. Good luck, Sunshine! Hope you love it here.
