While I don't believe in soulmates or the whole "1 perfect person out there whom you share a soul with" or any of that ****, I do feel there are people who are of like mind. If I were to, by some miracle, meet somebody that could put up with me....lol I would have no problem moving with them as long as my 2 oldest kids were still able to see their dad on a weekly basis. I moved to this God-forsaken town so they could be closer to him so I wouldn't want to take them far away again.

Ummmmm..........probably not. I mean, when my daughter is older and she's a woman and moved out, then I might consider moving-but not far. People who move out of state for someone-great for them, but I can't do it. I'm also kind of a "mama's girl" and I want to stay close to my parents and my family. I won't move anywhere with a man while my daughter is little. It would take years for me to trust someone with her. Yeah...probably not going to meet a soul mate either...somehow I was always convinced I would some day, but I've given up on that. I'll be lucky to find someone with the few prerequisites I do have (I think I'm down to: 'must have a job, car, and place to live').

wow... the man of my dreams... (does he exist??? I wonder....)

YES I would move to the ends of the Earth to be with him.

considering my dream man knows no other woman can ever replace me.. we are happy building memories and reminising on old ones, discovering new places, ideas, and dreams together..... I can go on and on....

though, the man of my dreams would be satisfied with us.... so, YES... I would move to where ever he is to be together.

Well...I'm pretty much in a stage where I feel I have met the woman of my dreams. No..she is not near me....I've thought about this question...and currently I could not move...had it been a situation where my kids were grown? Wow..good question

Oh Paul...I'm so flattered... Smiler
Just kidding. Congratulations--even if she's far away, to find someone you feel like that about...it's so cool. It's been entirely too long for me, but I wish it for everybody else.

I absolutley would. Love is too hard to find and can be taken form you in an instant. If I thought I could be happy again, that my kids would be ok, and that I could come back often to see my family..I would move...Of course he would have to be an extreamly special guy for me to even consider it.

NJ, I completely relate with your post. Love IS hard to find, and sometimes you find it when (and where) you least expect it.

And like you said, love can be taken from you in an instant. I know you understand that all too well. I feel that when you find it, you grab hold of it and live every day like it's your last with that person.

I absolutely would consider moving to be with the man of my dreams.

I've already done the whole "anywhere" thing. It's not that I would have a problem moving...it's that he would have to be one spectacular dude. I really don't want to be too far from my family again.

A true partner in life will be just as willing to move with you to maintain the relationship. If you know your partner isn't willing to do this then you know you're not being considered a true partner in your relationship. Equality is a must in any partnership.
