I moved to the Virgin Islands for the man of my dreams about 20 years ago and it made me realize how much I loved my family. When the relationship ended it was sooo good to come home to the comfort of wonderful people who loved me and missed me.

Dad moved in with me last year when mom had a stroke. They are now in assisted living, inches from nursing home living. Dad has Alzheimers and mom has dementia. There is nothing (short of Faith needing medical attention) that would make me move away from them during this last months/years of their lives.

I would however "strike a deal" that if this yeti/loch ness/sasquatch/unicorn/santa claus/easter bunny/perfect man moved here til my folks passed, I'd move anywhere with him afterward.

Man, I could complicate a paper bag -- if you'd just let me!
