I am creating a Mother's Day album for Faith. It will have one photo of us together each year on or about Mother's Day. By keeping it to one shot per year it should be able to expand and grow for many generations and be fun for Faith's children to look back at Grandma Laurie and mommy as baby Faith. I went to a profesional photographer yesterday and did not like his shots so my buddy Julie took about a dozen - I narrowed it down to five.

Question:
If you could have only ONE photo represent your year which one would you choose?

Choices:
Polka Air (me holding her up)
Polka Doll (me holding her up and she is stiff)
Polka Hugs (sitting with me holding her arms up)
Polka Lap (sideways)
Polka Love (my head tilted)
Break out the camera and try again.

 

Very nice pics, all, in their own way. I have to say at least in part I picked the sideways shot 'cause Faith didn't seem to have a "Mom....what're you doing to me...." look on her face. I'm just sayin.....

and here I thought this would be some pics of you doing the polka. I even had "alternative polka" by weird al up and playing to get me in the mood. thanks for getting my spirits up then slamming me back to reality

I like the one where she's in front of you spread eagle style - the one that looks like a great cleavage shot if her head wasn't in the way. I agree with bin though, you look way more excited about these photos than your baby does. It'll be good fun for her to look at someday, to remember what a spaz her mom was (hoping you have a good sense of humor)

As much as I would love to see both of your beautiful faces, if I had to choose just one I LOVE the one of you looking at her in your lap!! It is such a beautifuul Mother Daughter shot & if you are trying to "sum up" this year, well that is what it has been all about hasn't it!! Everything that you have been through this past year...but your love for Faith & her love for you~ that's IT!!!

Ya see Moosey, the thing is since Faith was born I now have cleavage in the front and the back! So, no need to highlight that these days - lol. Hopefully that'll address the sense of humor portion of your reply

You are all right though, I didn't realize she had a tortured face - guess I'm used to it - hello Mother of the Year committee??

Oh, I just love them all, Laurie! But I had to pic the polka hug one because Faith is looking at the camera in that one. You are both adorable!

LC, I chose polka lap, why.....cuz I liked it....Nuf sed...

Great idea I loved the one where you were holding her arms up it is a great shot of both of you! Just my opinion
