You hadda see the movie. The Bumpus's were their next door neighbors and they had these 3 big dogs, looked like mastiffs to me. Well, on Christmas Day they bust into kitchen and gobble down the turkey and Ralphie's(the main character in "A Christmas Story") dad chases them out; stands out in the yard and yells at the Bumpus's house. And that's what he yells. The "Scatafinga" thing is the movie's way of indicating he's swearing without actually having him swear. According to Ralphie his dad is "a master of profanity". So....all clear now?

Are you joking? I've never heard of that.

Who can identify this speaker: "I hate the smell of tapioca."

I'm so getting into the Christmas mood now, just talking about this movie!

Santa said that...LOL Big Grin

and yes...that's a real movie. with all the same characters but not the same people. Although not quite as good as the first movie...it's excellent on its own. Smiler

Also, alternately titled "It runs in family". was produced in 1994.
