No offense taken. I love the spirit of support and humor around this place. Humor should not be underestimated as a measure of quality people. Wink

Apparently, I am somewhat metrosexual...LMFAO....so much to the point that my sexuality has been questioned even by gay friends. They claim that I know to much about clothing, designers, and styles to be straight.....But hey, it's all good. It just makes me relate to the ladies all that much better. They get a treat when the guy in boots, blue jeans, and a Carheart knows something about style :P

My ex was metrosexual. We spent lots of days shopping together and he had more clothes (maybe not more shoes) than I did. Let me say that I can tell you for sure that he was not gay. I doubt a gay man would have such enthusiasm for...uh.... "coffee" with a woman as my ex did. Actually, shopping and coffee might have been our only strengths as a couple. lol..

Guys like Joey make me nervous to leave the house, because I'm not one for knowing labels on clothes or what is "in style." I know what I like and I wear it. LOL

I guess I could use a man like him around to tell me what I have in my closet that doesn't work my goods in the best way. LOL

I dated a "metro-man" once. He was gorgeous. But...he waxed his eyebrows and his chest, ironed his clothes, spent a much longer time in the bathroom than me and he was WAY more sensitive than me. But...he was one of the best relationships (well, at least one of the most adventurous and spontaneous) I ever had. He was REALLY fun. My daughter's father is about as much "macho-man" as you can get and I was EXTREMELY attracted to his masculinity. He was the exact opposite. He wore mismatched torn clothing, had lots of hair on his chest, very rugged, and as it turned out, very INsensitive. But he was one of the greatest relationships I ever had too. Writing this, I'm thinking that maybe I should get out more. Smiler So...which is better. Paul...did you say you were a mix of both of these categories... Smiler

LMFAO I get asked all the time why I dress like a "townie". Most of the people that live in this town are factory workers/farmers, and jeans, t-shirts and Carhart jackets are the norm. My response is always......

Do you think a townie would wear Lugz boots, Lucky Jeans, and a Lucky tee?? I think not.

I am the type that refuses to shop at Wal-Mart for clothes. Even if that means that I have limited clothing in my closets (yes closetS), which I assure you I do not. I own more shoes than most women I know, and when Jamie and I were together my shoe collection tripled hers. I also tend to do the same with my son. He has a huge closet FULL of clothes, and boxes upon boxes of out grown clothes, most of which are name brand.

Okay so I guess I might also be a bit materialistic, but damn it, I worked for it, so why not show it off Big Grin I don't lavish myself in much, so I choose to buy nice things. The problem only comes when it's time to replace them LOL

I Hear Ya! AMEN BRUTHA!!

On any given day..I'll wear RL Jeans, Italian Boots, a Banana Republic (Heaven sent cotton Razzer) V neck shirt ..and probably a silk or nice cotton L/S shirt...that's the norm for me. Yet I keep getting asked if I'm going on a date.

Just for the record...went to get me some more work boots and tried on the one made by Harely Davidson...just LOVED those things...so comfortable!! I havent worn anything else for week now...cept when I went on my date...had some supercool polished black cowboy boots on, that SO kick *ss! with my jeans.

See? And yet...if I walk around with my tanktop and jeans...I really doubt you'd think I was "Metro"...LOL Big Grin Just doesnt happen.
