"I need more COWBELL!"
Board Blazen Parent

Last night I was nesting again and going through some stuff and found some of Barts (Addies donor) stuff.........it's a shirt, a pair of boxers, and an electric guitar tuner.

Question:
So the question is......do I save the stuff so that Addie may have some of her donors stuff in the future or do I have myself a nice hormonally embalanced, rageful, vicious bonfire?!?!?!

Choices:
Fire
Save

Well fine....keep the shirt, the boxers definitely need to be flamed....the guitar tuner you could keep for a later date as Amy suggested, or post it to freecycle and make someone's day.

Which of the choices you offered would make YOU feel better?
For me?
I would probably just throw it all away or give it back.....
OR....I would smash the tuner (you sure you don't want to learn how to play guitar ? That could come in handy), tear the clothes apart with my bare hands release all my anger & frustration at the clothing (pretending it was him of course) and THEN....BURN it. Cool

*disclaimer* While it wasn't one of the original poll choices, normally I would always suggest returning any and all property of the other person to them. I do not ever suggest the destruction, sale, or gifting of the other person's property.
Been there, had that done Frowner

So.....will we get to see pictures of the mini bonfire? Cool

I'm with Don here....I think you should do the right thing and give it back....
And if the neighbor dog took a leak on it before you did...well it's not your fault he has a bladder control probelm...
Do the right thing here...you'll feel much better...

I would give it back to him but seeing as how I don't know where he is........I guess I'll throw it in storage and wait until the prego hormones are gone and see if I still want to burn it lol Smiler

I had to check SAVE only b/c I didn't want to be a hypocrite (spelling?)...I did save some stuff that I had from my son's bio dad. I had some pictures & a few other things that I had been given or just had of his that you just kinda' gather when you are together for over a year etc... I thought it might be important to Jake someday...that maybe he might want to see what he looked like or just have something that was his. I have to say...Jake has been told about his bio dad & did have a few questions, but hasn't really expressed any interest in wanting to "know more about him". I started dating My kids "father" just before Jake was 2yrs. & My Ex husband adopted him after we got married, so THAT is the only Dad he really cares about. Again we have talked & it's not a "secret" He just has never persued the issue further. I still know if he does I have that stuffed up in my Mom's attic somewhere, but he may just never care...kid's are funny like that & one thing I have learned is that there is a HUGE differene in how WE feel about their father (or lack there of) and how THEY feel about this person they don't & have NEVER known. Who knows what your future will bring...some man may come into your lives & sweep both of you ladies off your feet & Addie will have *HER DAD*...if not she has the BEST MOM EVER!!!! So I say save the sentimental T-Shirt & some picts if you have them ..the boxers may just be too didturbing..LMAO (what little girl wants her Dad's boxers no matter the circumstances..ROFL!!) as for the guitar thing...if it was part of "Who he is" & obviously he hasn't missed it then throw it in the attic & who knows SHE may play guitar someday... Hug Me

4 U LC...LOL!!
