I'm going with the embrace.
Nothing beats that physical connection at a level no one else but you and your special person can understand.

Okay I'm going against the grain here...
In order to have someone truly whisper sweet nothings in your ear there has to be a closeness ~ I'm talking the kind of sweet nothings that as he whispers how much you will be on his mind and in his heart while he is gone, you can feel his breath on your neck... and taste the skin on his cheek as you gently kiss him when he nuzzles into you to tell you how much he LOVES you. I would replay those exact words over & over & hold onto the smell of his breath as he whispered them until I saw him again. I am deffinately one that loves a strong embrace, but the chills that I get just thinking about that whisper touch just makes me tingle!! And believe me I would CHERISH those words I'd love to hear so much!!! They would be concrete & I would never question wheather he loved me...HE TOLD ME and I'd always have that!!!

Jaylie.... I would have to agree with you on a few points. (and I'm still undecided).

I remember the words of the last person I was in love with. They remain with me and has lifed me up when I was down. The words made me feel completely accepted and understood. Also, there were those words that gave me a special chill and smile .

Years later, I remember those words but I have forgotten his embrace. I don't remember what it felt like to be in his arms and feeling safe as much as those words. S i g h ....
