I just wanted to post a hello to all the other MA moms & dads out there. I'm a 30-something Mom of a beautiful 8 yo girl in Southern MA.

I've been separated for 2 years now and learning how to be a single Mom. I've discovered that I was a single mom even before the separation. My next court date is in March and I'm hoping it will all be behind me soon.

I just discovered, with my daughter visiting family this week, that I have no life away from her and it was a huge shock.

Most of my friends were "couple" friends and have trickled into the background. I have a few that I can call time to time but none in my area.

So, I guess I'm hoping to make some new friends. Hoping to hear from others.
