Oops, not sure What I did to my computer. But anyway, I know of South Shore Day Care Services based out of Weymouth, MA that places children in family daycare settings. They work on a sliding scale fee, so depending on your income is what you would pay for daycare. The only problem is that it is South Shore only. Hope this helps.

I live in on the south shore also. I am not sure what the going rate is here because my girls are on the daycare assistance program. I pay a small percentage and they pay the rest.
My dd2 started daycare in a home based daycare and while the woman was very nice and accomodating I felt like my dd didn't learn anything. I did then put here in the headstart program and after the first few weeks I saw such a change in her. Now she goes to a center daycare where she is doing wonderfully. I feel that they have more structure there.
