Hey Zackmom,
I am not in your area but I have kids ranging from 18 to almost 2. Not quite 40 yet but am working on it.
Sorry I'm not in your area.

Hey zackmom...if you could do parents without partners activities, you'd probably find the kind of people your looking to meet...

They make you go to Burlington for the introduction and get your check, but after that the activities are all over the place. I know there are some South Boston people that go to the activities, and they seem to be in your age group with kids the same age as yours...

Anyway...hope this helps...

Later,
Bobby

Does anyone know what Pwp is like? I am apprehensive about joining, as I don't want to be around a lot of depressed people...! I know that sounds negative, I'm sorry. If anyone knows about it, let me know.

I wish I knew, they don't have a chapter in Reno. I did know a lady who used to go, she seemd to enjoy it, but that was long ago.

Hey,

I belonged to the Boston area PWP chapter. I only went to 3 events, and they were all kids events, but they certainly weren't depressing. The people all seemed to be happy and successful, with well behaved kids. They still send me their monthly schedule of events, but I haven't paid my dues and don't plan on staying a member.

Really, the only problem with the group is that they're 10-15 years older than me (I turned 30 in Aug). If you're 10-15 years older than me, the group would probably be good for you.

Later,
Bobby
