I'm constantly in the company of married people and have focused on my children for a number of years now. Is there anyone here with ideas on how you get out and meet other single people that was enjoyable?

That would depend on what you call enjoyable.

You can try looking in local papers for single groups in your area, there use to be some here connected to different churches, but I haven't look recently.

depending on your financial situaiton...you can take the time to sign up for things you always wanted to do but never took teh time...sometimes amazingly enough you may meet people there.
