WOW
thanks for bringing up this old post again. I answered this 2 years ago already.
Things have changed a lot since then...my son is 2 years older for once...he rarely wakes up at night now and cries..and if he does he usually commes and sees ME in my room.
Life in general is more relaxed, although answering the question is still hard.
I don't seem to ever REALLY relax.

I dont know how relaxing this is, but it's a great stress reliever. I've been going for bike rides. Fresh air. 30 minutes of solitude. I feel very invigorated afterward.

I know this thread is extreamly old but hey i like it so here we go.

I like to sit back with a cold drink and listen to classic rock such as dr hook, led zep, guns n roses, niel young, and get drunk in the quiet pitch dark house after the kids are asleep. cept now its not pitch black its got the warm white light of SFV warming the room

that is so sweet!!

Relax - yes, books, music, dancing, surfing the net, lying on the sofa watching a good film, water - either bathing in it or watching it as in a wild or calm sea or river, watching the stars (tho too much light pollution in this town), and someone also mentioned watching aeroplanes take off, yea, I love that, imagining the nice tropical beaches I could be flying to - prefer to be there tho!!
