Getting My Feet (Board) Wet
Posted
A followup, for the folks who were kind enough to respond kindly to my previous topic.

Yep, the gf and I are still together. Although I don't really understand her state of mind about these things, I figured it was best to keep the peace and not go riding solo with my female aquaintance. That wasn't a decision made out of the blue, btw. We did have some 'words', one might say. Can't wait to see that cell phone bill. Smiler We made peace the next day, however, and both of us came away with a better understanding of each other.

And Tessmit, you were spot on - it wasn't just about the bike ride with another woman. In the "discussion" with Sandra, her concerns came out about whether or not I would return.

Now we are planning a vacation out west for next summer. For the three of us.

Cheers

flatlander

The trip was great, KM. The scenery was spectacular. I rode my bike better than ever before (the lesson definitely helped).

I can only hope that Sandra will want to move out there with me one day.
