Sheeesh... men are so weird. They ask you out for coffee (mind you, that doesnt come in quotes ok??) but they never follow through in what they say. They just keep on texting or calling saying "we still have to meet up for coffee" but it NEVER happens!

Hmpf! I give up. I wont think of meeting up with them anymore. Just makes me expecting for nothing.

So grab a couple of latte's and meet him in his office. Come on, take charge for a minute! Sometimes they actually like it.

LOL! and so I did... btw, I'm talking about three guys here: a doctor, a businessman and a musician. I texted/emailed them telling them that they still owe me coffee (take note, these are three long-time friends... I've known for more than five years... two of them I've know for a decade now)... here are their responses:

The Doctor: He was just waiting for my email, but since I didnt send it, I owe him one grand iced latte and a brownie at Starbucks. Sheesh... now I have to spend for following up our coffee talk

The businessman: He is extremely busy nowadays because his dad got sick and he's left all alone to take care of the family business. (hmpf, I take that to mean that he has no time for coffee)

The musician: He has just finished his big project and he is asking me where and when it would be best and most convenient for me to meet up. He'll go to where I am


I guess you already know who I'll be meeting for coffee next week then LOL

Guys in bands have a hard time paying the bills

Doctors have god complex's and ego's bigger then mine

Business guys are great but the one your talking about sounds like he's blowing you off.

by the way, my ex was a business guy. And "great" is not an adjective I would use on him
