Ha ha ha.... you guys are hilarious!

I'ld have to track down Dawn, our SFV matchmaker.

Ok... so if I'm trying to be found...

and no one is looking....

it's fruitless. Confused

However, if we are suppose to be picking a name. Is it gonna be like a grab bag? Don can print out everyones' name and cut them out into little strips, shake up a bag and the longest SFV member gets to pick first?

It's getting too complicated and I'm confusing myself again Frowner Confused

Well Tess,

I'd have to say my relationships just grew out of friendships and I was never out looking. I **** at dating because I'm a bit too honest.

I think I've only dated one time and it went amazingly well. The dates that is. I found out later I was just a temp distraction because she was upset when she found out the real boyfriend was on crack??!! And that was all after my separation.

These days there no women anywhere in my life. I have the misfortune of being an engineer. I live in a Twilight Zone world void of women Smiler.

That's hard to imagine Michail. Your kindness, honesty, and compassion.... seems like a rare find Wink

I'm still debating my thought about being found. It came from a recent surmon from church. The pastor had said women should wait to be found by the right man. S I G H .... I was wondering where all the "right" men were looking.

:whispering: FDDawg thinks I'm hiding too carefully that I'm making it impossible to be found by anyone Frowner (though, I think he has a point)

well, wanna go for my pastor's take on dating?
the bait you use determines the fish you catch. i love it, i have it written on my bathroom wall now. (that's a whole other story, but yes, i have a bathroom full of graffiti - fun!)

his theory is if you don HB's red dress how can you be shocked that the man is only interested in coffee. i think it applies to all other areas of life as well. when i phone a friend to vent and gossip and complain, how can i be surprised when my friends are negative? i've already 'fished' my way out of one high drama friendship and it is soooo lovely.

my bait is hard to find at the moment, but when i do put it out there, it'll be about who i am and not who i do! Roll Eyes

dont know if that helps or not. i am a bit bleary-eyed as it took seven hours to get faith down for her afternoon nap - at 10:30pm tonight! and i am only now prepping food for tomorrow's breakfast. i might be pulling an all-nighter - and that toothless grin is worth it! aaahhh..... hey it is after midnight - Happy Mother's Day! Love Balloons

If you think you can, or you think you cant - you are right.

That makes sense Laurie Smiler. So far my bait is sooooo small...no one can see it :P

Frowner I guess that's what hapens when I put my focus and attention on career and kids. Oh well... Smiler

I remember something that my grandfather said about "fishing"
there is fishing and then there was catching fish.
one just had you putting the line in the water and the other had you putting a hook and bait on the line and then putting it in the water.

anyway I know of a stray dog looking for a good home with a nice lady.
