one just had you putting the line in the water and the other had you putting a hook and bait on the line and then putting it in the water.

anyway I know of a stray dog looking for a good home with a nice lady.

Dawg

Where? Big Grin Just kidding.

I don't know...I've come to the conclusion that the best way to meet a guy is through mutual friends. Hanging out with coupled friends really works. They are very eager to "hook you up" with one of their single buddies. My friends constantly do this with me and it is fun, even if sometimes awkward (especially when there is NOTHING there and you are still in the same social circle when it doesn't work out). Grocery store "happenings" are not all that common...at least not for me. The produce aisle? LOL. I wish it were that easy here where I live. Church is probably a good place to meet a guy, I wouldn't know though since I don't belong to a church. I just recently joined the school board, so I'll let you know how that goes. I would love to meet a nice guy again someday (Lord knows how many I just threw away in my day). If only I knew then what I know now. How stupid I've been. Oh well, I think NJ is right. It happens when you least expect it. To see how beautiful and happy she is next to her handsome Paul makes me think that there is light at the end of all of our tunnels and that the wait is worth it. ...Or maybe it's a freight train loaded with more life lessons heading for me...not sure. Smiler

Hi guys. I'm new here. I think the same thing Tessit. My biggest fear is to fall for another not so nice guy and fall back into the same routine I just left. I would like to think there are good guys out there that are willing to give you a chance! Good Luck!!

I don't think there's any place to find good men and women, if there were then dating would sure as **** be a lot easier.

I try (and usually fail) to look for women just about everywhere. In my office building, at the park, yes at the bar, at singles events, at church, in the frozen food aisle, on the internet... I'm a regular combing this world kinda fool.

They say you can't meet a good person in a bar and yet... I don't think I know a single single person who doesn't go to the bar at least SOMETIMES. The one thing I try to do is go to a bar that has something going on other than Meat Market Friday. I'd think at least that way we have a common interest

No matter where you meet the person, I think the key to finding a good person is to get... to... know.. them ( I know I know less butterflies and excitement with the take it slow method )
