My kids have been working with there good friend Tom to set me and his dad up.His dad has hung around here for almost a year.He and I would sit and watch movies,laugh about are generation he is a great friend.He has seen me straight out of bed in Jamies and all.I am still trying to put Eric in his place so I asked the kids what about dad and I trying to fix things.They say no we traded him in on a better model(Mark).He has an 18 year old son Tom and a daughter that is 16 Years old.Mom decided to become a lesbian and move in with another woman.He and his ex were able to part as friends.hugs please help Gail

Well Gail I would just come out and ask where do I stand w/u or mabye where would he like to stand w/u on a friendship or relationship? I mean don't ask the guy to marry u but maybe hey how about a date or something along that lines. Just be forward but not scary aggressive like ur looking for that engagment ring. My kids love him.Tom and Steele have been best friends for about 1.5 years.I can be sitting here waiting for Steele to come from work and Tom and Mark drive him.Jesse fell down the stairs at school Mark knew before I did .Jesse called him and he picked Jesse up.This man has shown up here at midnight to drop off medication for me.If it were up to the boys we would be married and bedded down today.Mark was talking about the dating scene with me and Jesse said to him What my mom is right here and she wont lie ,cheat or hurt you.I didnt know what to say .I wanted to gag my son they are not being nonchalont they are straight forward.Mark date my mom,Mom tell dad to hit the bricks and date mark.If I told the kids he was moving in tomorrow all 6 of them would be happy.Nothing like our kids to center us out in those moments.Maybe I should just hang with Mark and let the kids do the relationship part.LOL

I dyed my hair on Sat in the afternoon Mark and Tom came over .Mark asaid I love the hair and I will come over tomorrow night.

You can always start it with an innocent question like what he thinks about the kids' match-making skills.

Its funny He has hung out with me in the last year alot.His 2 kids are friends with mine they are 18,16.Jessica Marks daughter broke her foot so dad would bring them over and hang out till midnight take the kids home.I probably just be me and ask point blank.I know that my forward personality doesnt scare him we talk about anything and everything with ease.Now that the kids put the hammer down it feels ackward and foreign.I think I will just ask him what he wants in a relationship and is he really ready for this ride.I am sitting here scaring the heck out of myself for someone I have been comfortable around when I dont let myself think about it.Okay guys I need a huge favor today everytime you see me self sabotaging because I think I dont deserve this could you please type Gail KNOCK IT OFF YOU WILL BE FINE.It would truely mean the world to me.Hugs Gail
