I'm really learning that I just have to make mistakes to better myself....that's how I've always been. Yes, this last relationship didn't work out. I made a big mistake but I feel like I'm growing into an awesome person because I LEARNED from it. I've always wanted to be one of those people who would observe and learn from others mistakes, but that's just not me.
So I'm starting a list.
It's a list to help me know what NOT to do if ever I decide to get into another relationship. I'm in no hurry, but at least I'll have this list on hand when/if it happens.

Lessons Learned: (in order of importance)

1)NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER MOVE TOO FAST!
2)Don't talk about past relationships TOO soon.
3)Leave the parents out of it.
4)No staying the night after Dinner on the second date. (see number 1).


This is just the beginning of my list.
Feel free to add yours...I need as many pointers as I can get.

Yes, being friends first is something I definitely need to add to that list...I've met so many people who started out as friends and ended up falling in love. Those seem to be the people who are the happiest and enjoy each other the most.

Never date a guy with a "Little Man" that has more brains than it's owner....
