Here's a flip from the other thread.

Where are the good guys looking?

... not for the one night stand, the friendly relationship ... but for the potential woman they'll possibly marry?

online? in a bar? anywhere? shopping? church?......

since I'm determined not to go "looking" for a man and waiting to be "found".... I want to make sure I'm in the right place at the right time. Razzer

(LD.... do you think the extra long lead on my husky would work at the park? He can run circles... it would be a tangled mess.)

Actually the Dog Park is a great place, I did meet a lot of women there (prior to my one true love, that is Confused)....you figure you can see how they handle their dog....and that gives you a little insight into their personality. Smiler

Coffee shops first thing in the morning...LOL..although I wouldnt have caught Heather dead there! since she doesnt drink coffee.

And I still say....The produce aisle in the grocery store. Smiler

Church? I've seen a LOT of predators at church! Both men AND women...so I'm not sure that's such a good idea. Confused

The Zoo....Amusement Parks...Golf Courses....Pet Stores....just a few more. Wink

I'm a man of many mysteries and sides....SO many I'm practically round!!

The way my situation worked out was due to total obscurity....I was having a bad valentines day and put a post on Craigslist that said "Single father looking for his best friend" It said nothing about dating just about wanting to find people to meet and hopefully find some things to do other than sit at home. The responses just poured in, and I realized that from that single post I was in a bit over my head. A lot of the responses were "Hey $exy" or "Do you have any nude pics" etc etc....but the one that stood out said nothing more than simply "do you have a myspace?"...I latched onto that one as she seemed normal, so I gave her my myspace info and I really lucked out. Not only was she smart and down to earth, but she was gorgeous too...

The funny part is that I have never been on craigslist prior to that day, and she happened to go there because she saw some TV show that mentioned craigslist....Neither of us have been back since.....That was almost 3 months ago, and thus far, all is well....

I am not suggesting that is a good place to meet men, but it worked for me. I don't really give the website credit for anything as I am a firm believer that fate has a big hand in everything...That is just what worked for me....

we're around its just that most of us dont know remember how to play the game anymore, when your in for a long time we all get used to the way things are and who we're with, then you get thrown back into the lions den again you have to figure it all out again its like accidently walking into the wrong bathroom.....you like"aaaa opps....???" i thought it was easy but most none open minded girl/women dont want to deal with extra baggage that we single dads have.....and for the most younger girls/women being a mom to our kids is something they're not willing to do......or not ready for, but maybe i'm just not looking hard enough or i just dont care anymore

I think a lot of women feel the same way. Esp the ones on here. I still say I like the idea of the tags. All of us single people should just where tags. It would make the whole dam thing so much easier. Hi I"m so and so I am blank years old. I like blank blank I have bland amount of kids. They are blandk blank old.

Wouldn't it make it so much easier don't you think? lol

I keep hearing this happens more often than I realize. It used to be taboo to meet someone online and end up in a quality relationship. One of my friends whom I've known for 2 decades now has a sister who met her now husband from an online spades game. They share 6 kids between the both of them.

LOL... In one of my posts in the begining of this new year, I joked we should all just pick an SFV name and get married. If it doesn't work... it doesn't work... We just pick another name.

Well, some people on here has already taken me seriously... so it seems. Makes me wonder.

Yea, I agree.
I find that when I am "looking" for a nice man to meet, I don't, and just when I was minding my own business......... Love Hearts

That's a lovely story and wonderful news, Trey's daddy!

I had always said to my friends, sister, and even on SFV "it will happen when you least expect it"

And then it went and happened to me.

I was very sure I didn't need or want a man. I was very content with it just being me and the kids..Thats about when he snuck into my thoughts and my heart.

S0 now I believe it even mnore so than before.
