You're counting him out completely? If the picture is that bad and on sight you still don't recognize him, he could be teasing (testing)? I hope.

Hey forward it. Are you saying what we'll see in that picture will say, this guy who appears to be so charming and witty and had you--who had sworn off dating for the time being--contemplating a date now should be completely discarded because you don't like the way he looks?

Goodness, I hope that question makes sense, my grammar is so off today.

well I am in to the manly man occasional knuckle scraping kind of guy. remember i gutted and renovated a 130+ year old house. i have power tools and i know how to use em baby. i have a sawzall, circular saw, jigsaw, chopsaw, miter saw, keyhole saw, hacksaw, etc. etc. etc. can tell you makita is turquoise, dewalt yellow, milwaukee is red, etc. etc. etc.

i am loooooow maintenance on looks. straight hair, wash it, comb it, good to go wet as it'll dry by the time we get there. no make up. nails are not "done" i am an ivory girl all the way. that's not to say i dont do the heels and lingerie thing, i am just in to 'real'

this guy has "product" in his hair. at a baseball game. i mean ew to the product and the blow drying and the metrosexual stuff at all, but maybe, just maybe for an uber-nice wedding or if you win an academy award or meet the pope, but to a freaking baseball game. ew ew ew. he looks like he'd be upset if he broke a nail.

i need someone strong enough to stand up to me. if i can grab a sledgehammer and knock down a wall and he cant, then i'm out. we all have our types and mine is just not the girlie man type. i still want him to be sensitive and appreciate me, but if we go for a walk in nyc i want him to protect me and not the other way around...

does that make sense to you? i am one tough broad, to make me feel feminine, he has to be one tougher guy...

I am seriously cracking up right now. That dude by far is not a girly man! LMAO! Laurie, c'mon. I was thinking I'd see Uncle Fester or something. Are you sure the thought of getting out there again didn't give you cold feet and fetching for some straws to clutch?

I'm only put off by the fact that you have yet to recognize him. If you did, I would say give this one a taste...at least swirl him around in your mouth a bit Razzer You have no idea what he can stand up to until then.

LolaO, i was actually thinking the same thing as far as girlie man???...alot of things popped into my head when i first saw him, but girlie man was not one of them. in fact he looks anything but feminine. ok so he MAY have a little product in his hair but i wouldn't classify that as girlie. honestly though i think the guy just has wavy hair Big Grin. Well it probably wouldn't work anyway since guys who look like that (masculine) USUALLY like the opposite (feminine, non-butch, etc____(insert word of choice) and since Laurie is a tough broad it would probably be a disaster..LOL. Just a hunch.

I'm with Laurie on the description of her ideal man...I want a man's man as well. Not someone that it takes him longer to get ready to go out than it does me.
