Well,,, I try not to be a dark cloud, and tend not to really put anything serious out here, but I have come up with lung cancer, which brings a whole new set of problems as a single parent. Right now the chemo is making life a little hard and messing with my thoughts and stuff like being tired all the time. The crazy part is my sister came down with colon cancer at the same time, we have been scratching our heads on the timing here. Half the time my kid thinks I have given up and am just going to die. I try to explain that would take all the fun out of laufing in the doctors face when he gave me so long. So the fights on with this stuff. If its any consolation you can call me baldy pretty soon .

Holy Sh*t, Paul......well, ****, take it a day at a time, I guess. Hopefully you knock it into remission and keep it there for a good long time. And who knows, they may find a cure in the next few years. You never know...

The one thing I never had was fear when they told me. I have people who will step up if need be, for my one girl left, but I plan on being around a good long time. Its just a good excuse for the vacation I have been putting off my whole life.

And you can tell me the easyer way to spill the beans, lol. I have certainly been trying to come up with one. I found no easy way, so I figured best to get it out of the way fast. I had plenty of time to think on it as I was in the hospital logging on here on a lap top, bad thing to be thankful for pnemonia, had it not been there they never would have looked. No worries, this is just another thing in life to fight. Maybe something to make a person look at life a little differn't, and charish what I have.

Lurch, I have to admire your spirit and attitude, doubt that in a similar spot I could be so strong. Hopefully our thoughts and prayers will help in some way to keep that strength up.
