i opened an e-mail today... truth be told i have absolutely no memory of this man... did we meet? just type back and forth? age? looks? locale? 2005? 2006? i got nothin... what do you do? what dooooo you do? ok, actually what do I do?

Either that or try to get more info from him..I'm sure it'll eventually come back to you.

i have absolutely no memory of this man. i wont recognize him, tall, short, blonde, brunette, thin, fat, 20s 30s 40s i mean no idea at all. i may have even met him, i really dont know.

lots of other things too, but i can not determine if they are reasons or excuses, so i'll hold off on posting them til i figure my head out (could be years - lol)

That's true..not about you being a dork that likes to complicate things..do you even have a dorky bone in your body?..LOL. I know there's no tactful way to do this really is there?..lol..without being totally honest that is. My feeling though if you can't remember..it couldn't have been all that good..kwim? But who knows..either way i think my curiosity would get the better of me..lol.

Maybe you could write him back, say hello & suggest he forward you some of the old emails so you could reminisce too - that might spark your memory - i dunno.

Or could this be someone playing a mean trick on you? So, are you a fan of the Odd Couple?

And, one more thing - i'll admit i've lost a few more brain cells since having my child - just can't seem to remember things like i used to.

ok, i was in sales before i bought the inn. the whole 'its a numbers game' mentality. i probably went on 30 or so match dates in a year.

this may be the guy who spent the whole night talking about his ex wife, the guy who moved from nj to dc, or the guy i went to the seafood festival with who posted a photo a minimum of 10 year old. or it could be one of the hundreds of guys i wrote to and never met.

ok, so howzabout i write back asking how he is and to e-mail a new photo? then when i send one back it is one that includes faith??? that'll determine if i am he is dateable or undateable - LOL but how on earth do you word that?

good Lord, then would i really have to go on a date? i have only been away from faith for 12 total hours of her life, and that was because of court. i have separation anxiety. boys are smelly. i look so ugly compared to 2006. it is my busy season, i am short staffed... i honestly have no one to babysit. reasons? excuses? tuh-may-toe, tuh-mah-toe

I have to agree that it is a little odd...although the photo would help jog your memory...unless he never sent one originally and then you'll be left right where you are

I would just tell him you don't remember and need some more info.
