Everytime I meet someone it seems like as soon as they hear I have three kids they never talk to me again. And I know, everyone tells me, then they aren't someone I would want to be with anyways. But it's so frustrating. I hate feeling like the plague when it comes to dateing because I have kids! And the thing that annoys me even more, is with my ex, woman find it so sweet that he is a father. granted they don't know the real him, or that he isn't a "father" at all. Where do you guys meet people?

I have run into the same situation for 8 years here. I have met people over the internet, they all ended up being 'just friends'. I went to college, everyone is either too young, gay or married. I joined a church, everyone is either too young, ancient or married. There is also noone at the place I work, in my office or the entire building.

I am still waiting for the Lord to show me the person I am meant for. I don't know what else to do. I am not desperate for a mate, but I am ready to try again with someone. I don't know when it will happen, but when it does I will be ready!

I think part of the problem is your age, your probably meeting guys your age who arent ready yet for all that in their life. From you profile I assume you are 24? Dont give up !!! Your too young to give up and not have a social life. If your using a online service look for someone your age with a child or two of their own, or someone a little older.

Men that accept you and your kids are out there. You just need to be patient until you find him!!
