Sometimes I know that my inability to just come up to someone and talk to them, has caused me to miss out on possible friendships even. I have a hard time when someone says "Hey, I want you to meet," or "Hey, wanna go do this," and I barely know the person. Does that make sense?

I get a funny feeling of anxiety when I'm around people I dont know. Its getting better though. I think shopping at a bigger store has done that. When Kai and go grocery shopping I am usually just strolling along, talking to her and keeping my eye contact away from anyone.

Its a wonder how I ever made Kai huh!?! LOL

Well I can say this....you just have to go for it. I too was afraid.....mostly of rejection. There are lots of single people out there, if one catches your eye....say hello and you never know what may transpire.

Ladies....you are all wounderful and any guy will be lucky to have you. SFV I think has all the good ones. Smiler

YES.....I'm finally back!

I did see this and just now have remembered to respond. lol

You are worth any man who is decent. That's for sure! I haven't known you for all that long but I do know that you are a good person and that's all someone needs to know at first. I realize being patient is frustrating but maybe just a little longer Smiler

I, myself, am learning what I will and will not deal with and I am putting myself out there a little bit at a time. I have managed thus far to make more friends online, I know IRL would be better, but for now, I am doing that and I like the friends I have made so far. Maybe someday I will get to meet those friends IRL. I have a few friends that I initially met online that I meet up with once in a while, one I've had for 8 years and we are still really good friends.
