"Moderator Proud father/grandfather" SFV JUNKIE!!!

If the father doesn't want to sign over his rights and allow someone to adopt her, it will be next to impossible to get a judge to order it. That's something I learned the hard way YEARS ago, when I thought that tons of money and high priced lawyers could force me to give up my oldest daughter when I knew I couldn't even afford any kind of lawyer...little did I know that all I really needed to do was show up in court and refuse to sign those papers. You might talk to a lawyer and get their opinion on that as well, it would be a shame to spend a bunch of money on a case with no hope to win, and talk to her father beforehand as well to find out for sure whether he would fight that or just let Eric adopt her.

Yes, it does because legally he would not be the father to the state. He would also not have any visitation rights or anything else a father or mother would normally have.

If you are referring to my comment what I meant was that if he is paying support it would be impossible to show abandonment, hence impossible to take his rights away unless he agrees. Course on the other hand that just might be the thing to get him to agree...No more CP payments. Some people have their price..my father signed away 6 of us for 5000 bucks. So when I was 6 I was worth exactly $833.33. Anybody good at economics...with inflation since 1965 what would I be worth today??
My biological father still has an open case with the state of Pa because he didn't pa child support up to the time his father'y rights were terminated. Child Support is forced by the state, heor she has to make a WILLING effort to be apart of his or her child's life.

for what he does for a living I need to speak with attorney. We need someone prepare documentation at his level. One documentation had a typo and he wanted away to get thru out of the court. He is attorney.
