To a special mother who is considering an adoption plan for their child.

First, I would like to say that you are a very special, courageous woman to choose life for your child. I know that this is an especially emotional time for you that I could never understand, but pray that God will be with you through this hard difficult time, and help you with your decisions.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive a child for over 5years. We never expected to face the challenge of infertility. After numerous surgeries and treatments, we have finally realized that God had another plan for us, and that is to have a child through adoption. I am 34yrs old, and my husband is 31. I am a registered nurse and my husband is a mechanical engineer. We have been married for almost six wonderful years, and we have always dreamed of becoming parents. We enjoy gardening, spending time with family, traveling, and music. We both come from close knit families who are looking forward to having their first grandchild! My husband and I are a very fun, active, and caring couple who would have a lot to share with a child. We are both from the Christian faith. We are seeking a caucasian newborn. We promise to love your child as if it were born to us. If you would like to learn more about us, please feel free to email us at: pghanna*sc.rr.*** . I could send several more pictures of us and our family if you desire. We would love to hear from you!

May God bless you and keep you in his care,

Patricia and Glen Smiler

World Association for Children and Parents (WACAP) has created the brochure, Can Singles Adopt?

They invite any single person who has considered adoption to contact WACAP.

WACAP is one of the most respected and experienced nonprofit adoption agencies. WACAP has placed more than 8,000 children with loving parents across the country.

Single women can adopt from China, India, Russia and the USA. Single men can adopt from the USA.

So that single parents wont feel alone during their adoption, WACAP offers special support throughout the process. Each of their adoption programs that accept single parents has a designated Single Parent Specialist. WACAP also offers special consultations with social workers, support groups and helpful staff.

I'm a single mother, I've adopted my son about 6 months ago. I adopted through Faithful Adoption-http://www.faithfuladoption.org . For me as a single parent it was so helpful to use Faithful Community on their website, which allows to communicate with parents adopting at the same time from the same region. I never felt alone. Wonderful experience overall!
