Hi folks...brand new here from London, Ontario! Cool I've been separated from my husband for 3.5 years now with a daughter who is almost 10 and a son who is 12. I sure wish that I had found this site back then but as I'm just about to finally go through divorce proceedings I'm sure that I'll find some well-needed information and advice.
However, the questions I have today are on behalf of my current boyfriend. He is having support and access disagreements with his ex-girlfriend with whom he shares a son. My questions are about jurisdiction since his ex moved out to Edmonton last summer. Does the cs and visitation now fall under Alberta laws or remain under Ontario? Also, as we believe that this will probably end up in the courts, will he have to travel out west to attend court proceedings or will she be required to return to the Ontario courts?
