My ex is driving me crazy. He is behind in child support for 4 yrs now. I was such an idiot that I went back to him last summer which lasted 7 mths. He was kicked out by his mom and meet up with an ex girlfriend that he cheated on me when I wasn't home a mth from having our daughter. Anyways, I sent him a dental bill for our daughter because he had coverage at work. He called me and he was fine about it until he told his girlfriend and she had him call me at work and starting to argue with me so I hung up the phone. They put an complaint into the Better Business Bureau over a personal issue. Even though the night before he agreed to help me pay half of the bill. So, I wrote up a letter and hand delivered it to his mail box at his place. this was done before I received the complaint from the B>B bureau. Anyways he left a nasty message with fowl language on my answering machine to tell me not to even call him at his place anymore which our daughter picked up the message adn was upset with what he had said. He hasnt seen her for over a month. And this is just the beginning of what he has done, but everyone knows it is his gf putting him up to this cuz he woul never gone this far if it wasnt for her but he is a big boy now and He chooses to be a wimp and let her control everything he does lol And keep in mind I was very good to him over the years we have known each other. He has never treated me this badly and I am ready to explode, I saw him today in the mall and I walked by him like he didnt even exist to me.

Well it sounds like this is a new yucky situation you now have to adjust too.

As for the dental bill, if he agreed to pay half I suggest you pay your half now and have the dental ofice send him a bill for the other half.

Do you have a divorce/separation agreement?
He is behind 4 years on child support - Have you contacted the Family Responsibilities Office?

As for his relationship with the new girlfriend, well he choses to behave this way and treat you and your daugther this way.

I have contacted legal aid but they say I make too much money which I dont how they expect me to pay for a lawyer. We were never married, I have full custody of her and a written agreement for child support between us. we saw him and his gf in the mall the other day and I walked right past him like he didnt exist and my daughter and him said hi to each other but he kept walking.

If you have a written agreement call the Family Responsibilities Office in Toronto. There is a 1 800 number for the office.
They will send you a package to fill out a few forms. These forms are not too complicated. I did them myself. Then you take them to the court house. A clerk will have you swear that what you have written is the truth . They stamp everything and send it off to the Family Responsibilities office. It will take about 2 month's but bingo once they are on it, they are on it.
There is no charge for this.
You just have to put in the effort to get the ball rolling.
